I have been taking Concerta 18 mg for almost a year, but on my last refill, I noticed that the pills looked different and had a different coding imprinted on them of TL706. I noticed almost immediately that this was not equivalent to Concerta, as it was not addressing my ADHD symptoms. Furthermore, it was not calming me down, it caused an increase in anxiety, it gave me terrible headaches, it caused nausea, it wore off in about 5 hours, and after 2 weeks, I noticed that my fingers were tingling at times. I thought that my body would adjust to it in time, but it only got worse. Concerta has always worked beautifully from the first day that I took it. I talked to my pharmacist, and she told me that I had been given a substitution of RELEXXII 18 mg to address the shortage of Concerta and Ritalin. After further research, I discovered that the problem may be in the delivery system of each drug. Concerta uses a delivery system of OROS, and Relexxii uses Osmodex delivery. They are not equal.”
